A Route Planned on a Map Breaks at the First Missed Window
Most routes still come from a mapping tool and a dispatcher’s memory. The map knows the miles. It does not know the driver’s remaining hours, the receiver’s appointment or where the truck should stop, so the plan gets rebuilt by phone once the truck is already moving.
One Plan That Accounts for Everything the Truck Has to Do
Route AI reads the order, the appointments and the driver’s hours-of-service status from the same record dispatch already uses. It sequences the stops, sets departure times that protect each window and hands the plan to the driver. EKA EconFuel AI plans the fuel on top of that route, and EKA On-Time AI watches it once the truck rolls.
Fuel, on-time performance and detention all inherit the route, so the route has to be right first.
How It Works
Load and Appointment Intake
Reads pickup and delivery windows straight from the order record.
Hours-of-Service Awareness
Plans around the driver’s available hours as well as the miles.
Stop Sequencing
Orders the stops and sets departures that protect each appointment.
Plan to the Cab
Delivers the route to the driver and keeps dispatch on the same version.
Every Other Agent Runs on Top of the Route
EconFuel AI optimizes fuel on the route Route AI built. On-Time AI predicts against the same plan, and DockTime AI measures detention against the appointments that plan protected. Because the route lives on the same record as everything else, an improvement to the route carries through to every agent that depends on it.
Why We Built It This Way
Built in the Right Order
EKA built the infrastructure first and the optimizers second, so nothing gets ripped out when the next agent ships.
One Record, Three Seats
The same infrastructure serves carriers, brokers and shippers, because the load crosses all three and the handoff is where freight breaks.
Earned, Not Read About
The team spent decades operating freight across trucking, brokerage, freight payment, risk and insurance, which is why the agents handle the 40% of edge cases that break other AI.
Live in 2 to 8 Weeks
EKA goes live in 2 to 8 weeks against a legacy implementation of three to six months, and new agents ship on 8-week cycles.
You Do Not Have to Replace Your TMS
EKA is headless and API-first. Starting at the end of Q4 2026, Route AI will deliver its work into the system you already run. EKA goes live in 2 to 8 weeks, on the records you already have.
Talk to Us About the APIBuilt for Carriers and Shipper Fleets
Carriers and private fleets
You plan the route and you pay for every mile it adds, so a plan built on real hours protects the margin on every load.
Shippers with their own fleets
Route AI plans your own trucks the same way: around real driver hours, every stop and every appointment you set.
See Route AI on Your Own Freight
Live in 2 to 8 weeks, on the order, route and carrier records you already have. Bring a real load and we will show you the agent working on it.
Schedule a 20-Minute DemoFAQs
Does Route AI account for hours of service?+
Yes. Route AI plans against the driver’s available hours from the same record dispatch uses, so the route it produces is one the driver can legally run.
How does Route AI work with EconFuel AI?+
EconFuel AI runs on top of the route. Route AI sets the stops and the timing, and EconFuel AI decides where and how many gallons to buy along that route. An unoptimized route would hand EconFuel AI the wrong question.
Do we have to replace our TMS to use it?+
Not from the end of Q4 2026. EKA is headless and API-first, and starting then the route can be delivered into the system you already run. EKA itself goes live in 2 to 8 weeks.
